We are using Zoom to deliver online classes. If you haven’t already, you'll need to download and install the free Zoom app.

For your laptop / desktop computer, download the Zoom Client for Meetings here:

For your mobile device, go to the App Store and install Zoom Cloud Meetings.

(A computer or tablet is recommended, for the optimal experience.)

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the class start time.

We’re new to this, and appreciate your patience with any glitches as we learn!

 Helpful Tips:

Testing your Zoom setup
Once you’ve installed Zoom on your device, you can join a test meeting by clicking here to make sure your audio and video are working properly, and play around with it a bit, to learn the controls. We can’t provide any technical assistance during class, so testing your set up before class is helpful. We unfortunately won’t be able to stop the class to help you if you’re having trouble.

Setting up your practice area

Set up a practice area in your home before the class start time, and check to make sure you can see the screen during practice. The class will be adjusted for minimal props, but if you have yoga props, gather them together. If you don’t have props, here are some helpful tips for using things you have around the house: Making Your Own Yoga Props

Will I be seen in my house as I am practicing?
That’s up to you – you have the option of being seen, or not. Once you click to join the classroom, you’ll have the choice to join with or without video.  If you choose With, the teacher and other attendees will see you.

Can I change the view so I am only seeing the teacher?
“Speaker” view allows you to see only the teacher, while “Gallery” view will show other students in the class. It can be nice to see other students’ faces in Gallery view, but during instruction time, Speaker view is best.

Can I ask questions during the practice, or chat with fellow students?
During class, the teacher will mute all microphones. This reduces audio feedback for all attendees, and minimizes disruptions. The teacher may pause to ask if anyone has questions, at which time your microphone will be unmuted.
