Helpful Tips:

Setting up your practice area
Set up a practice area in your home before the class start time, and check to make sure you can see the screen during practice. It's also helpful if your computer is positioned about 8 feet from your mat, so that the teacher can see you, from head to toe. The class will be adjusted for minimal props, but if you have yoga props, gather them together. If you don’t have props, here are some helpful tips for using things you have around the house: Making Your Own Yoga Props
Will I be seen in my house as I am practicing?
That’s up to you – you have the option of being seen, or not. Once you click to join the classroom, you’ll have the choice to join With or Without Video. If you choose With, the teacher and other attendees will see you.
Can I change the view so I am only seeing the teacher?
Yes. “Speaker View" allows you to see only the teacher, while “Gallery View" will show other students in the class. It can be nice to see other students’ faces in Gallery view, but during instruction time, Speaker view is best.
Can I ask questions during the practice, or chat with fellow students?
During class, the teacher will mute all microphones. This reduces audio feedback for all attendees, and minimizes disruptions. The teacher may take time at the beginning and end of class, to ask if anyone has questions, at which time your can unmute your microphone.
