Join Monique Pickering for this free informational session to learn more about the benefits of a yoga practice that focuses on aligning your spine based on your particular curve pattern, and moving into yoga poses exactly the way your back needs. A focused yoga practice can help lengthen your spine, strengthen supporting muscles in your back and legs, and realign your posture.

About Monique
Monique began her yoga journey while pregnant with her first child eight years ago. Yoga is now an inseparable part of her life, and she thrives on sharing her knowledge with students of all ages. Inspired by how yoga movement can change people’s health and overall life, Monique earned certification and began work as a Les Mills BodyBalance instructor. While teaching this fitness regime, which combines Yoga, Pilates, and Tai Chi, she strived for a deeper understanding of the benefits that yoga in particular can bring to the body.

Monique is an Iyengar Certified Instructor, and completed the 200-hour Teacher Training Program in 2017 at The Yoga & Movement Center in Walnut Creek. In 2018, Monique furthered her studies with Elise Browning Miller and is now a Yoga for Scoliosis certified Teacher Trainer. Today, Monique tailors her attention to detail and precise method of teaching structural alignment to her students.
